Who We Are & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Odinstat LLC ("Odinstat", "we", "us"), the company that operates the Odinstat service at odinstat.com and api.odinstat.com. By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using Odinstat, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, and you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

You may use Odinstat only if:

  • you are at least 18 years old and can form a binding contract (Odinstat is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13);
  • you own the YouTube channel you connect, or the owner has authorised you to connect and analyse it; and
  • if you are acting for a company or a creator you manage, you have authority to accept these terms for them — "you" then includes that company or creator.

If you do not agree, do not use Odinstat.

YouTube API Services

Odinstat accesses YouTube data through the YouTube API Services. Your use of Odinstat is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy). You may only connect channels you own or are authorised to manage. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google security settings (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

What the Service Does

Odinstat computes statistical analyses of your own YouTube channel data and presents them as insights, Deep Dive answers, reports, and AI-written explanations. Analyses compare your videos against your own history. Some analyses require a minimum amount of data and will say so rather than run on too little; that is by design.

The figures we show come from YouTube's APIs, which report with a delay, revise past days, and occasionally omit metrics for some videos. Where a number is missing or unreliable we show that rather than a stand-in, but we cannot make YouTube's data more complete than it is.

Your Data & Our Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your YouTube channel, your content, and your channel data. Odinstat claims no ownership over any of it. You grant us only the limited licence needed to import, store, process, and display your data to provide the service to you and to the collaborators you authorise, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Odinstat software, analyses, methodology, text, design, and the Odinstat name and logo belong to Odinstat LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service under these terms. Reports and exports you generate are yours to keep and share; you may not present Odinstat's output as your own analytics product or remove our attribution from exports.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Plans, Trials & Automatic Renewal

Odinstat is offered on paid plans that differ by number of channels, collaborator seats, report features, and daily AI assistant usage. Plan details and current prices are shown on the pricing page and in Settings → Billing.

  • Every self-serve plan starts with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. A payment method is collected at checkout but not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and the first charge — the plan price shown at checkout, monthly or annual as you chose — is made on the day the trial ends. One free trial per person: a trial already used on another account, or on a deleted account, is not repeated.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. At the end of each billing period (monthly or annual), your payment method is charged the then-current price for your plan for the next period, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • For annual plans we send a reminder at least 15 days before the renewal charge, stating the amount, the date, and how to cancel. Stripe also sends a reminder before a trial converts to a paid subscription.
  • Collaborators invited to a channel do not need their own paid plan; their access is covered by the channel owner's plan and ends if that plan ends or the owner removes them.
  • AI assistant usage is capped per day by plan. The cap resets daily and unused questions do not roll over.

At checkout, Stripe shows the plan, the price, the billing frequency, and the trial end date before you confirm, and asks you to accept these terms. That confirmation is your express consent to the automatic renewal described here.

Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, in U.S. dollars. Prices exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are; where we are required to collect it, it is shown at checkout.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately and the prorated difference is charged right away.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing ("Cancel subscription" or "Manage billing"), online, in the same place you subscribed — no call or email is needed. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for; you keep full access until then, and auto-renew stops immediately.
  • Because unused time is never taken away, refunds are not owed automatically. We do issue refunds where the law requires it, where we terminate your access without cause (see Termination), and at our discretion for support cases via support@odinstat.com.
  • If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active while payment is retried for a grace period, after which the subscription is cancelled and paid features lock. Your data is retained until you delete it or it ages out under the Privacy Policy.
  • Prices may change. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
  • If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at support@odinstat.com before disputing it with your card issuer — we can usually resolve it within a few days. While a dispute over a charge you authorised is open, we may suspend paid features on the account.
  • Consumers in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with a statutory cancellation ("cooling-off") right: because the service begins immediately and the first 14 days are free, you can cancel during the trial at no cost. If your first paid period begins and you cancel within 14 days of that charge, email support@odinstat.com and we will refund it, less a proportionate amount for the days of paid service used.

Your Account & Acceptable Use

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Channel owners control collaborator access, including which sensitive metrics (revenue, demographics, geography) each collaborator can see, and can revoke access at any time.

You agree not to:

  • connect channels you are not authorised to manage, or access other users' data;
  • scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute Odinstat or its output as a service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • reverse-engineer the service, probe or bypass its security or rate limits, or interfere with its operation;
  • use the service to violate YouTube's or Google's terms, any law, or anyone's rights;
  • use automated means to create accounts or to consume AI assistant capacity.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that do any of this.

Third-Party Services

Odinstat depends on services we do not control: YouTube and Google (your data and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database hosting), and Google Gemini (the language model behind AI answers). Their terms govern your relationship with them, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. In particular, if YouTube changes or withdraws API access, some or all of Odinstat may stop working and we may need to change or discontinue features.

Availability & Changes to the Service

We work to keep Odinstat available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service depends on YouTube's APIs, which report data with a delay and occasionally change. We may add, change, or retire individual analyses as we improve the product. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel; if you have prepaid for a period, we will refund the unused portion.

Termination

By you: you may stop using Odinstat and cancel your subscription at any time (see Billing). You may also delete your account and all associated data from Settings; deletion is immediate, cancels any active subscription, and is not reversible.

By us, for cause: we may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these terms, if your payment fails and is not cured, if we are required to by law or by YouTube or Google, or to protect the service or other users. No refund is owed for a termination for cause.

By us, otherwise: we may end the service or your access to it for any other reason on at least 30 days' notice. In that case we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

On any termination your licence to use the service ends. Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy (you can export reports before you go). Sections that by their nature should survive — including Your Data & Our Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law & Disputes, and General Terms — survive termination.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The statistical insights and recommendations Odinstat provides are for informational purposes only. AI-generated answers and interpretations are produced by a language model from your channel's statistics and can contain mistakes; treat them as a starting point, not professional advice. We do not guarantee any particular outcome for your channel, and decisions about your content remain yours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Odinstat is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that any analysis is accurate or complete, or that data received from YouTube is accurate, complete, or current.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; to that extent, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law permits, and you may have additional rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Odinstat LLC, its members, managers, employees, and contractors will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, profits, subscribers, views, business opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to these terms or the service — whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes decisions you make about your channel in reliance on an analysis or an AI answer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Odinstat LLC to you for all claims arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US$100.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud, and rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived by contract. If you live in a jurisdiction whose law gives you rights these terms cannot take away, those rights apply.

You agree that these limitations are an essential part of the bargain: the price of Odinstat reflects the allocation of risk in this section, and we would not offer the service at that price without it.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Odinstat LLC and its members, managers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party that arises from: your use of Odinstat in breach of these terms; your connecting or analysing a channel you were not authorised to; your violation of YouTube's or Google's terms or of any law or third-party right; or any content or data you submit. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and may take over its defence at our own expense, in which case you agree to cooperate reasonably.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you protections that cannot be taken away by this choice of law, those protections still apply.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at contact@odinstat.com describing the problem, and we agree to try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Most issues are fixed this way.

If we cannot resolve it informally, any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction — except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where you live if it qualifies, and we may seek an injunction in any court to protect our intellectual property or the security of the service. Each side bears its own legal fees unless a law or court awards them.

General Terms

  • Entire agreement. These terms, our Privacy Policy, and the plan details shown at checkout are the whole agreement between you and us about Odinstat and replace any earlier terms.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is enforced to the extent permitted and the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages of YouTube, Google, Stripe, or hosting providers, internet failures, or governmental action.
  • Export and sanctions. You may not use Odinstat if you are in a country or on a list where U.S. law prohibits us from providing it.
  • Notices. We send notices to the email on your account and, where noted, inside the app; you send notices to contact@odinstat.com.
  • Relationship. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship. Odinstat is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google; YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. The "last updated" date at the top will change. For material changes we will notify you in the app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and the new terms will show their effective date. Continuing to use Odinstat after the effective date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, cancel before then and, if you have prepaid beyond the effective date, we will refund the unused portion.
